Camino Winds blows in with 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Hurricane Sally (or rather the hassle of insurance adjusters, contractor estimates, repairs, etc.) really put a dent in my reading time and it is still going on and will be for a while! But what an appropriate book to be reading during this time, Camino Winds by John Grisham. At least we didn’t have anyone murdered when Sally hit. I don’t know if I would say this is the best of John Grisham but it was definitely entertaining and a very good read. But when I say the “best of” I wonder if it is because when he came on the scene in 1988 his books were so unique and 33 books later we are used to his unique style of writing. I do love all of his work with The Pelican Brief being my favorite.

If you want a novel with twists, turns, and suspense this is the one for you. A murderer thought the deed would be covered up by the hurricane but no one expected a few good friends to discover things just didn’t add up. Or a book store owner would find millions hidden in off shore accounts of a deceased author and friend or a manuscript that uncovered a massive fraud worth killing for.

It is definitely a Five Star read!

  1. Thanks for that review. I’ll download a sample to my Kindle. I used to love John Grisham – my favourite was The Client. Then some other ones were too similar and I haven’t read any for ages, but I will try this one.
