Tragedy changes everyone’s life that experiences it just in different ways. For some tragedy makes them stronger and for others it destroys their lives. Anna Fox, a psychiatrist who works with children finds herself on the proverbial couch after a life changing event. She transforms form an outgoing, full of life woman to an acrophobic who can’t even stand for an exterior door of her house to be open. During the first few chapters we get to know Anna and the problems she faces then it starts to get very interesting with the introduction of the other characters, Ethan, his mother and father.
There are many unexpected twists and turns. I was very surprised to read so many negative and mediocre reviews of the book. I don’t usually read these types of suspense/thriller novels but found this to be in the edge if your seat good. I don’t want to give more details about the story because I want the reader to experience it for themselves. That is what draws you in and keeps you reading to that fateful ending. It is definitely 5 stars for me.

I’m SO glad you liked it! I’m very curious about this book, I’ve heard mixed things, but as the movie is about to come out I think I should prioritize it 😊👏🏻

I enjoyed the book but I didn’t love it. I will watch the movie; it’s on Netflix. Thanks for the review.
