The Brennans love big and mess up big too! They have some major issues that begin with the parents and continue with multiple secrets kept by each family member. The brothers and sister think they are protecting each other with their secrets yet only compound mistakes that can destroy all the family has worked for through generations. They finally work toward fixing the problems when communication opens up among the siblings only to have the biggest secret of all threaten to send one of them to jail.
The Brennans’ story is compelling told through multiple points of view. I wanted to know the characters and sit with them in their Irish Pub even as I wanted to shake them and say just talk to each other!
I loved We Are The Brennans. It was so rich in family history, some good and some bad but in the end family stands by family and together they will take in the world!
