I wanted a fun, easy read and I found it in Ali Hazelwood’s The Love Hypothesis. I loved the main characters Olive and Adam. I enjoyed there interaction with each other. The brooding Professor Carlsen who is “antagonistic and unapproachable” and sends his research students away in tears has a soft spot for an awkward Ph.D researcher, Olive Smith, that he has been harboring since a chance meeting in a bathroom. Olive doesn’t know her own appeal but is so loyal and loving that she is willing to not step but leap outside her comfort zone and kiss a total stranger to convince her best friend that she should date Olive’s ex-boyfriend. She just wants those around her to be happy. Adam’s and Olive’s “fake” relationship offers many interesting situations and I will leave it at that because to say more would spoil the story. I give it 5 Star’s because it did what I wanted it to do, entertain me:)
