I haven’t read all of Elin’s novels but I’ve enjoyed the ones I have read. The Hotel Nantucket is one of my favorites of hers. I loved Lizbeth. I hate a cheater worse than just about anything. Either commit or don’t to a person but don’t treat them with such disrespect as to cheat on them. So when Lizbeth overcomes her broken heart and becomes a huge success in her own right and ends up with her soulmate I love it!
I enjoyed the eclectic cast of characters. A closet millionaire, a world renowned chef, a single mom trying to make a life for herself and her daughter, a rich kid who has a life changing event, a talented bellboy who can tickle the ivories, and the mysterious blogger who never gives five keys, a chess protégé, an eight year old writer and of course, Grace, the ghost who haunts the hotel. The Hotel itself is a place that I would love to visit for a week. The ambiance, the food, the luxurious accommodations are what vacations are made for. The Hotel Nantucket is a 5 star beach read for me.
