I loved this book so much. It is everything I want in a good book. I could relate to the main character because I lost my mom. It’s been twenty years but it still seems like yesterday. She was a wonderful friend, encourager, mentor, advisor. She believed in me. She had such confidence and pride in me and my accomplishments. It is hard to lose someone that has always known you and gets you. Someone that is a part of you and you are a part of.
Sometimes I think I want to call mom and share… and remember I can’t. So I relate to Katy’s feeling of being lost without her mom. I would love to have a magical time like Katy and connect with my mom as a young woman, to know what made her the woman she was.
This book was simply beautiful. It was a great escape. The writing was so descriptive that Positano came alive for me. The characters were real, flawed in some ways and I suppose that is what made them real. I love Italy and if I ever get to go back Positano is where I will go and Hotel Poseidon is where I will stay.
So I encourage you to take a mini vacation and enjoy the beautiful sites of Positano, Italy during One Italian Summer:) 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
