Reading on the couch or on the bed?

I can honestly read anywhere (the car, up a tree, beside a tree, the beach, etc.), but if I have to choose between only those two options, I choose the couch. Sitting up and reading is more comfortable for me.

Sweet or Salty snacks while reading?

A book and a bag of Dove chocolate is my dream afternoon.

Trilogies or Quartets?

Probably trilogies. Honestly, the shorter a series is, the more likely I am to finish it.

First person or Third person POV?

I read a lot of thrillers and mysteries that are often told in first person or third person limited, so I really like how first person builds suspense and allows for some great plot twists.

Night or Morning reader?

My brain struggles in the AM hours. I don’t mind reading early, but let me do my yoga and drink my coffee first.

Libraries or bookstores?

Online shopping for me, please. Not necessarily because of the pandemic, just because I don’t want to put on real clothes.

Books that make you laugh or make you cry?

I thought for a moment that I’d be able to complete a tag without talking about Heather Webber’s book that made me start this blog. Please do yourself a favor and buy Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe: A Novel.

Black or White book covers?

Black covers, I guess. I don’t have many books with white covers. I’m not sure why. I would read one.

Character driven or plot driven?

I prefer plot driven works, but they have to have strong characters to get to pay attention. Some plot driven works lose the characters.
