Becky’s Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nine Perfect Strangers

Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty

Nine strangers check into a “health resort”. They have to follow protocols they knew nothing about and things happen to them without their permission. Some come to lose weight, some to restart their life, some to save relationships, and others don’t even know why they came but everyone wants to be transformed at the end of their ten day stay. Are they all transformed? And what about the mysterious leader or should we say nut case that runs the resort?

This novel was different than anything I’ve read. It was a little bit all over the place because each chapter was about a different person and it switched between the characters throughout the novel. It was just a style of writing that I wasn’t used to reading. I loved Frances Welty the romance author and really enjoyed each character once I got used to the switching around. It was listed under thriller as the genre but I felt it belonged more in women’s contemporary fiction. I liked it and would recommend it.

This is the first book of Moriarty’s I’ve read and I’ll probably order Big Little Lies. I am looking forward to the Hulu series.

I would love to hear what your favorite Moriarty novel is and why. Maybe I’ll order more than one:)
