Kayla’s Top Ten Tuesday: Colorful Book Covers

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This was actually a topic for about a week ago, but I missed it and decided that I wanted to catch up.

So, now it’s time for some colorful book covers:

The Lost Apothecary

I LOVE the colors on this cover, so it was an obvious choice for this list.

Buy The Lost Apothecary: A Novel

Three Times Lucky

I just ordered this one to listen to with my four-year-old (who’s current favorite book is The Hobbit, and I fear I must intervene before she becomes a fantasy nerd like her father instead of a mystery buff like me). I love the cover, as well as the book description.

Buy Three Times Lucky (Mo & Dale Mysteries)

Once More Upon a Time

I know that a lot of people are mad at Audible right now (for reasons that I’m mostly ignorant of), but this audible original is too cute for me.

Buy Once More upon a Time: A Novella

Howl’s Moving Castle

Literally every version of this cover is beautiful and colorful.

Buy Howl’s Moving Castle

Arsenic and Adobo

I love the art for this. Now I just have to finish the ARCs I’m reading so I can read this!

Buy Arsenic and Adobo (A Tita Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery)

The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany

It’s the book that convinced Becky of the greatness of BOTM. You can read her full review here.

Buy The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany

The Library of Legends

Here’s another book that’s sitting lonely on my shelf, and the cover is so pretty.

Buy The Library of Legends: A Novel

Love in Color

Here’s the collection of short stories I’ve chosen for this list. I have not read this book yet, but I can’t deny that the cover is absolutely gorgeous.

Buy Love in Color: Mythical Tales from Around the World, Retold

The Sound of Stars

I have this one in my box for BOTM this month, and it’s beautiful.

Buy The Sound of Stars

Beaches, Bungalows and Burglaries

I don’t always love cozy mysteries, but this one looks absolutely adorable.

What do you think of my list? To be honest, I don’t like overly-colorful covers, so I’m not really sure this list should even be considered.
