Kayla Talks Twitter Pitches

So, today I’m pitching my novel for kiss pitch, and I’m nervous only because I have very little Twitter experience. If you follow the blog on social media, you know we are active everywhere except Twitter. It’s honestly kind of sad.

That said, I’m trying my best to be an active participant, supporting my fellow authors while clamoring for attention myself. I’m a little concerned that I’ll somehow break etiquette. I’m a Southern lady! I NEED an etiquette book to navigate the Twitter!

Anyway, here is my initial Twitter pitch followed by the pitch I plan to use later:

Chase Harlem left her career as an FBI profiler to lose herself in the Big Easy. But when a LSU quarterback is framed for murder, she’ll need the help of her maybe boyfriend and the teen who keeps breaking into her apartment to clear an innocent man #KissPitch #Myst #WF #mild #A

Thoughts? Advice? Prayers?

Also, happy Thursday! I’ll get to answering tags soon!

  1. Kayla, I know how you feel. Some days I just don’t open my computer in case my head bursts. I know I’ll never be able to post on any site the way more experienced people do, so I choose to do my best and leave the results to the universe . . .
