Kayla’s WWW Wednesday: October 20, 2021

Welcome back to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by Sam on Taking on a World of Words. If you want to participate, please check them out. I’d love to read your www post!

No blog? No worries, just answer the questions in the comments. We bees love hearing about new books, and we’d love to hear from you!

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

This is a fun, creepy read that I’ve had to close in fear a couple of times.

Buy The Sun Down Motel.

I’m looking forward to some more scary stories to accompany me on my exercise route.

Buy The Conception of Terror: Tales Inspired by M. R. James – Volume 1: An Audible Original Drama

What did you recently finish reading?

This was a tough read. Oates’s writing is as mesmerizing as always, but the subject matter is not something I typically read. If you enjoyed Lolita, this is similar, though it’s told from the young woman’s perspective. Trigger warning for some sexual violence.

Buy A Fair Maiden: A Novel

What do you think you’ll read next?

This one is up next in my Audible que. I don’t read a lot of James Patterson, but I love my audiobooks to have a good cast. Here’s hoping this is as good as I hope it is.

Buy The Coldest Case: A Black Book Audio Drama

I cannot wait to read this one. As soon as Becky got this in the mail, I moved it to the top of my TBR.

Buy Last Girl Ghosted: A Novel
