This book is crazy, wild, intense, magical, and magnificent!!! I love it! I didn’t want to put it down! It grabbed me and held me from the beginning and the more I read the more I had to know what happened next! I’ve already chosen my BOTY for 2022 and this is it, because of the way the writing transported me to Pastoral, a hidden society with deep, dark secrets. It’s going to take something special to replace it for me. I was on edge throughout the book. I did not see the twists coming. (Yes, there is more than one:) Fear can control people more than anything else in the world.
Travis finds missing people because of his special gift. A children’s author, Maggie, has been missing for five years and her parents hire him to find her but then comes the first twist in the book.
There is so much more I want to write but I would be giving away some of the best parts so I will just say read this fabulous book!
