Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is books on my spring TBR.

Omens Bite: https://amzn.to/3HV3Sez
I actually really like the casts. Their world building is top-notch, and their stories are fun! I can’t wait to read this one that I just got from #netgalley.

Run Rose Run: https://amzn.to/3IYEGoP
Not a huge fan of James Patterson—not that my opinion matters there because he’s one of the best selling authors in the world—but Dolly Parton is a saint. I will read this for Dolly.

The Book of Cold Cases: https://amzn.to/3CuLEQe
This was my #BookoftheMonth pick this month, and I’m super excited to start reading. Honestly, the hardest thing about #BOTM this month is picking which book to read first.

Tell Me Everything: https://amzn.to/3KKRLmr
And since #BOTM allows me to choose from seven books this month, I picked this one as well. True crime is my weakness, and this is literary true crime, so I’m positively salivating.

The Cartographers: https://amzn.to/3hSypPz
This is Becky’s #BOTM and she’s already making her way through it. She may even finish before spring officially starts!

The Paris Apartment: https://amzn.to/3pLzugI
It’s written by Lucy Foley. I feel that’s all I need to say.

Reminders of Him: https://amzn.to/3IR9yrk
I’ve never read a Colleen Hoover novel, and this one seems like a good place to start.

One Italian Summer: https://amzn.to/3hSaLmw
This seems like 110% a Becky book, and if she likes it, I’ll probably read it eventually. Also, Becky has great taste, so I’ll probably love it.

In the Middle of Hickory Lane: https://amzn.to/3hQVGBB
If #netgalley doesn’t give me an early look at this beautiful Heather Webber novel, I will cry. It’s not supposed to come out until this summer, but I NEED it for my spring break.

Being Mary Bennet: https://amzn.to/3tJVqK4
Y’all know I already read this, but it should be on your spring reading list because it is ridiculously charming.

The Love of My Life: https://amzn.to/3HOE8k4
It’s romantic, it’s psychological, what’s not to love? I’m looking forward to this one.

The Christie Affair: https://amzn.to/35Ij81p
Agatha Christie is my spirit animal, and like any devoted Christie fan, I’m super interested in her disappearance. I have got to read this one.
What’s on your Spring TBR?

Love your blog! “Omens Bite” sounds so intriguing, and I love that you mentioned it has top notch world building. I love a book that helps me escape to someplace fantastical and new. My most recent read did just this and I think you might enjoy it too – “The Blessing of the Black Wolves” by JS Murphy(https://www.jsmurphy.ca) – book 1 in a trilogy. It follows a mysterious young girl who is being held as a slave, until her healing “powers” save the life of a young nobleman. He is grateful (and very smitten) and makes it his mission to set her free and help her get back home. The world in which this book takes place, while fantastical, also draws a lot of parallels to our world. It has a Game of Thrones feel to it but I think the author has done a wonderful job at creating something entirely new. The politics are complex and directly influence the story (especially where “the nobleman” is concerned). There is a beautiful romance that develops under all of the excitement, and I could not put this book down. Easily one of my favorite reads of 2022 so far. I just ordered book 2, Raven Seeker. If you do end up checking it out I would love to hear what you think
