The Cicada Tree grips you and holds on to you well after you have finished it. The writing was poignant and magical. “Some things are meant to burn”! “The world is a dangerous place for a creature of beauty or maybe a creature of beauty is a dangerous thing to the world”. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for this debut novel.
