It’s a psychological suspense novel featuring an unlicensed psychologist and the couple she’s counseling.

This is one of the most important books I’ll read all year. Check out my review here for more information.
This one was a bit lackluster in my opinion. Slaughter is such a powerhouse of a writer that I think I put this book on a pedestal. It’s not what I thought I wanted. I’ll have my full review up tomorrow.
What do you plan to read next?
If you’re a thriller writer, and you don’t follow Jessica Payne’s YouTube channel, Moms Writers Club, then you are missing out. It’s a great resource for up and coming authors trying to break into the biz.
Moreover, this is Payne’s debut novel, which I got an advanced copy of from NetGalley because I bugged them relentlessly. I can’t wait to get started on this one.
