So, we’ve been blogging for about two weeks now. Our social media is looking pretty good. Facebook and Instagram have pulled in some followers, and we feel like we’ve made some friends. However, we would definitely like to gain more followers here in the blogosphere, so Kayla decided to take advantage of WordPress’s free online classes with Blogging U.
For the next ten days, we will be working on #bloggingbranding. Day one requires us to set goals for our blog, so here are mine:
- Publish three to four times each week until 2021.
- Spend one hour each week visiting my followers’ blogs, reading, and commenting from now until the end of September.
- Establish a new weekly feature on my blog and publish that feature each week through the end of the year. I’ve established “Mystery Mondays” already, but I’m also thinking about doing a “Tuesday Talk” or something where I can discuss tropes, writing, etc. What would you like to see as a feature? Any ideas?
Obviously, all of these action goals are meant to help us gain more hits, more followers, and more likes.
I’m posting our goals for the sake of accountability. I know I tend to get too busy or too set in my own routine, so I’m hoping that this will help.
If anyone has any useful tips or advice to share the the comments, please do so! Thank you so much to all of you who’ve already liked and followed us. We appreciate the response we’ve received so far.
Nice to e- meet you! We have taken part in the bloggingbranding training with wordpress and hope to meet some like minded people
