Becky’s Review The Music of Bees ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOW! WOW!! Wow!!! Elieen Garvin’s debut novel resonates with me like the hum of the bees resonated deep down in the core of Jake’s soul. This was such a lovely book and heartwarming story. I laughed. I cried. I got mad. This is one of my Top 5 novels (among those are Where the Crawdads Sing, Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe, The Noticer and Just Jones) of all time and after 62 years of life of this avid reader I think that speaks volumes about the author’s ability as a great storyteller!

When you accidentally rear end a guy with a 16 & 1/2” Mohawk in a wheelchair while transporting Russian honey bees it makes for a memorable day!!! Alice was not really having a good day after her pick up of the bees was delayed and she couldn’t get them situated before the cool of the night sat in and now this!!! The last year had been hard and fighting off the panic attacks had been difficult. Little did she know that this encounter would change not only her life but that of Jake, the owner of the 16&1/2” Mohawk and Harry who she had yet to meet. These three individuals’ lives become intertwined and where there was once three strangers there is now family.

If you can read only one book please let this be the one! I loved it!!!
