Welcome back to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived by Sam on Taking on a World of Words. If you want to participate, please check them out. I’d love to read your www post!
No blog? No worries, just answer the questions in the comments. We bees love hearing about new books, and we’d love to hear from you!

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
An agent I interviewed with at the SanDiego Writer’s Workshop recommended that a check this book out a s a comp title to my own manuscript, and boy does that make me happy. I’m only a couple of chapters into listening to this, and the writing is absolutely superb. I could not ask for a more flattering comp title.
This has been on my TBR for a while. I was recently told at work that I’d be teaching world literature next year, and after looking at the suggested reading list, I’ve decided that I need to shake things up. How can we call it “World Literature” when only Europe and Greece are represented in the curriculum? It’s actually kind of shameful. Anyway, I’m hoping that this book or Gods of Jade and Shadow might be good resources to use in World lit.
What did you recently finish reading?
It’s been a while since I could say I had fun reading a book, but I had so much fun reading this book! You can read my full review here.
I actually have a pretty huge TBR pile, but this book comes out in just over a week. It’s such an interesting synopsis that I just had to request it on #NetGalley.
Synopsis:
Gossip Girl meets Get Out in Ace of Spades, a YA contemporary thriller by debut author Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé about two students, Devon & Chiamaka, and their struggles against an anonymous bully.
All you need to know is . . . I’m here to divide and conquer. Like all great tyrants do. —Aces
When two Niveus Private Academy students, Devon Richards and Chiamaka Adebayo, are selected to be part of the elite school’s senior class prefects, it looks like their year is off to an amazing start. After all, not only does it look great on college applications, but it officially puts each of them in the running for valedictorian, too.
Shortly after the announcement is made, though, someone who goes by Aces begins using anonymous text messages to reveal secrets about the two of them that turn their lives upside down and threaten every aspect of their carefully planned futures.
As Aces shows no sign of stopping, what seemed like a sick prank quickly turns into a dangerous game, with all the cards stacked against them. Can Devon and Chiamaka stop Aces before things become incredibly deadly?
With heart-pounding suspense and relevant social commentary comes a high-octane thriller from debut author Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé.
What do you think of my list? I hope to see yours soon, so please feel free to share a link in the comments.
