I chose this as an add on from my BOTM Club selection based on Circling the Sun by Paula McClain. I loved her writing. I might not have chosen it if I had truly understood the content of the story but then I would have missed out on an incredible book. It deals with missing children, abuse, drugs, death, families being ripped apart, but it wasn’t graphic yet it was emotional. It also deals with love, forgiveness, perseverance, and strength of the human spirit. Some of the situations were based on true stories. It was so well written with strong well developed characters. I highly recommend this book if you love a good mystery/thriller. I have found another favorite author and look forward to reading all of her novels.
