I love Hannah and how she approaches the relationship with her stepdaughter who is always antagonistic toward her yet she only shows love and support for the teenager. This makes her husband love her more and he knows that no matter what Hannah will do everything to protect Bailey even if he can’t. I wasn’t expecting the many twists and turns in this suspenseful thriller. I’ve had this book in my TBR shelf since May of 2021 and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to read it. It was an easy, fast read maybe because I couldn’t put it down. 5 stars
