Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks topic is all about books that made me laugh out loud.
The Stupidest Angel
This was the second novel I read by Christopher Moore, and they are all laugh-out-loud funny. It’s a Christmas novel, and it features most of Moore’s characters from his other novels. That said, I was unfamiliar with most of those characters and still enjoyed reading this. If you’ve never read anything by Moore, you should. His stuff is hilarious.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
I will be so surprised if this one is not on everyone’s list. Douglas Adams mastered the art of humor in literature back before it was cool.
Neverwhere
I have a dark sense of humor, and this novel did the trick for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a comedic book. However, Gaiman knows how to add much needed moments of levity to his novels.

The Colour of Magic
Of course Terry Pratchett would make it on this list. I admit that I had a hard time getting though this because he divides by books instead of chapters, but it was well worth it for all the laughs.
The Iron Druid Series
I know this is not how Top Ten Tuesdays are supposed to work, but this nine-book series is as hilarious as it is action-packed. I’ve included the link to the collection, so feel free to check out what has become one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series of all time.
