Kayla’s Author Journey: Writer’s Conferences

Hi everyone! I’ve had the privilege of attending two virtual writer’s conferences recently, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Why? Because I was able to talk to several of my dream agents, and every agent I talked to asked for pages!

I’d often been told that writer’s conferences are a great way to get ahead in the game, and I’d have to say I agree. There are currently two agents with my partial manuscript, one agent with my full manuscript, and an agent who’s patiently waiting on me to send my manuscript along with two detailed outlines of my planned sequels.

Will all my hard work lead to representation? Who knows! However, I’ve learned a lot from each conference, and I won’t regret the outcome, no matter what.
