Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is books I enjoyed but have never mentioned on my blog. The issue with this is, I mention all my books on my blog…so, I reached back in the archives for a new topic: top ten books that have been on my to-read list the longest.

The Family Upstairs: https://amzn.to/3vsVGjb
In a Dark, Dark Wood: https://amzn.to/348z8ZW
Emma in the Night: https://amzn.to/36Xc3ul
I still need to read Emma in the Night and In a Dark, Dark wood as well.. but The Family Upstairs was better than I expected it would be. I definitely recommend checking that one out.
Great selection! Best of luck with getting to all of these and I hope you enjoy them when you do!

I’ll have to move that on up the pile. It’s longer and sometimes the heavier books intimidate me. 😬

That’s understandable.. I’ve been staring at The Diviner’s by Libba Bray for a while now and all I keep thinking is that it’s almost 600 pages. 😅
